Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your EvenSides account and personal data at any time. Self-service deletion is available directly in the app — no need to contact us.

Two deletion options

Option 1 — Soft delete

Delete my account

Found in Profile → "Delete my account" (small link at the bottom of the page).

What it removes immediately:

Link between your login and your player record
Phone number, date of birth, city
Waiver signature records

What stays: Your name, photo, and game history remain anonymously in the system so past game records stay intact. Your Supabase authentication account is not deleted — you can sign back in with the same email and an organizer can restore your profile.

Option 2 — Full erasure

Permanently delete all my data

Found in Profile → "Permanently delete all my data" (dimmed link below Option 1).

What it removes immediately:

Your name, photo, phone, date of birth, city, and all profile fields
Your Supabase authentication account (email cannot be re-registered)
Any pending profile approval requests

What stays: Your participation in past completed games is retained anonymously (the player row exists but all identifying fields are blank). This preserves game history for other group members.

This cannot be undone. You will not be able to sign back in.

Can't access the app?

If you can't sign in to use the in-app deletion options, submit a request below or email legal@evensides.com from the address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What happens after you submit a manual request

We confirm your identityWe verify the request matches the account before deleting anything.

Backups and logs

Some data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging.
